The voice of Lion King’s voice-over artist Lion King is no longer with the company.
The actor, known as Lenny, died on Monday in New York.
He was 76.
The company announced the news on Twitter, saying that Lenny “has been a key member of Lion Kings’ team since his days on the show.”
He was an amazing voice actor and a fantastic storyteller.
We miss him greatly.
We are forever grateful for the incredible work he did for us.
Lenny was a huge part of our family.
Lion Kings is now in the process of hiring an external voice-overs artist to fill the role, according to the company’s Twitter account.
The announcement came two weeks after Lion King producer Chris Larkin said that the company would be looking for a new voice-acting director after the death of Lenny.
The Lion King cast and crew have thanked Lenny for his work on the series.
