“Azula: I’m Not There.”
The voice of the Asian-American character Mulan in the animated Disney film “Frozen” is getting a second chance after the actor, voice actor and animated Disney character actor voiced her in “Mulan” in 2018.
“Mula” is the first animated Disney movie in which the voice of Mula is voiced by an actor.
“I’m not here to discuss Azula voice, but it was a great experience and I’m excited to do something similar again,” said Azula, the voice actor.
The voice actress behind Mulan, actress Michelle Lee, said she’s “extremely proud” of the “I am Mulan” project.
Lee also noted that the voice was originally played by the actor David Warner in the 1970s.
The “I Am Mulan,” which was written and directed by John Musker and stars Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Zazie Beetz, and Dan Stevens, is set to open nationwide on March 9.
