The voice of the fictional Russian man known as Ksenia Soboleva was awarded $100k in a voice-over contest in 2018.
The contest was held in a Moscow theater where the Russian actress was the voice of a Russian man in a movie.
In a short video for the contest, Sobolev explained the process for winning the $100K prize.
“When I won the $50,000 I got an envelope with the prize money inside,” Sobolevich said.
“But the envelope was not even sealed.”
Sobolevs family members then took her to a hotel and the family was then allowed to use her voice to complete a speech in the film.
The prize was presented by Russian filmmaker Oleg Tsarev.
“I was so happy,” Sobolich said.
The family said that she has been working as a voice actor for several years and the film has been a highlight for them.
“It was a great honor for us and we are proud of what we have accomplished,” Soboles father told The Associated Press.
The Sobolevic family is very grateful for the honor and is grateful for what she has done for the world, according to their website.
