As we reported last month, Simba actor Lewis James will voice the voice of the lion in the upcoming Simba voice actor’s animated film, The Lion King: The Adventures of King Tut and the Forbidden Kingdom, according to a new report.
James will be portraying a lion in one of the film’s six different scenes, which will be filmed in a desert area and include some of the most iconic scenes in the film.
It will be the first time a lion has been voiced in the Simba series.
Simba and his brothers are the main characters in the animated film and the lion is played by actor Bill Paxton.
James has also been cast in a number of other films, including the new Star Wars film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
James, who also plays King Tut in Disney’s animated films and the upcoming Disney movie Beauty and the Beast, will next be seen in the new animated film Despicable Me 3, which is set for release in 2019.
