Krista Kronke is a former writer, actor, singer, songwriter, and song producer who is now a writer, musician, and director of films.
Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, New York Post, The New Yorker, and The Guardian.
She has won numerous awards for her work including the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Music Foundation’s Audiovisual Arts Award, and the National Audiovisions Guild’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
Her work has also appeared in a number of national publications including Entertainment Weekly, The Los Angeles Post, and ABC News.
In 2008, Kronk was selected as a finalist for the National Book Award for Voices of a City, and in 2010, she was named a finalists for the Pulitzer Prize in Fiction.
Her voice was heard in more than 70 feature films, including The Silence of the Lambs, Silence of an American Soldier, and, most recently, The Mummy Returns.
Kronk received an honorary doctorate from Boston University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public health.
